Doktor inżynier nauk chemicznych związany z analizą właściwości mechanicznych i chemicznych żywności, a także charakterystyką jej struktury. Współautor publikacji naukowych dotyczących charakterystyki nowych produktów spożywczych. Współpracuje nie tylko z ośrodkami polskimi, ale także z ośrodkami spoza Polski (Francja, Kanada).

Posiada bogate doświadczenie w pracach w projektach naukowych z zakresu chemii materiałów. Odbył liczne staże naukowe w L’Institut des Matériaux Jean Rouxel de Nantes, Francja w ramach programu Polonium.
